About Daniel Lloyd-Morgan:

Daniel Lloyd-Morgan founded his Crouch End practice in 2001, specializing in creating unique outdoor environments for private residences and business properties in London.

Daniel's approach to landscape design is informed by his knowledge of other creative disciplines. After studying Three Dimensional Design at university and becoming a graduate of Capel Manor's College for Horticultural and Environmental Studies, he built his career as an award-winning garden designer gaining a RHS Gold medal and the Tudor Rose Award.

His three cardinal design rules are:

1. Simplicity- there is great beauty in keeping things simple.
2. Integrity of materials- At all times venture to use natural materials in their natural state. He is a fan of letting objects wear naturally.He loves chipped paint and rusty metal.
3. Include something that doesn't make any sense- Go ahead! Do something a little crazy that only has meaning to you and makes you smile every time you see it.

His clients are surveyors, engineers, architects, interior designers, property owners, property managers, contractors and private homeowners. All have very different needs but at the heart of the business is a first class commitment to service and quality design, and whatever the project size, he has a healthy respect for budget, given conditions and neighbouring environments. Many of his clients come through word-of-mouth recommendation and from articles published about his work.

Depending on the nature of the property, his service can begin with a concept proposal to help identify the philosophy, identity or theme of a property. His primary services include but are not limited to the following:

• Site assessment & site selection
• Site master planning
• Landscape and garden design thru build (in collaboration with selected General Contractor)
• Procurement & selection of exterior furniture & fixtures
• Coordination of exterior materials & finishes
• Exterior lighting design
• Irrigation design

His project management services include:

• Site inspection & verification
• Contractor supervision
• Oversight of custom fabrications
• Coordination of purchase & delivery of FFF&E (finishes, fixtures, furnishings and equipment)
• Facilitation of installation

Apart from his London garden design business, Daniel also designs and builds natural swimming pools for customers with bigger gardens. He has done so in Portugal and is looking for clients in all Mediterranean countries who wish to benefit from an environmentally friendly chemical free pool that looks beautiful all year round while being functional too.
