About Jean:

Jean is a Property Consultant, helping investors, make informed investments on overseas properties both for investment and lifestyle.

Before she worked in property, she held various senior roles in the media with H. Bauer, Ogilvy & Mather New York, EMAP Consumer Magazines, and Virgin Media. She believes her understanding of the media, strategy, marketing and consumers gives her an edge in the international property business.

Whether someone is thinking of purchasing property abroad as an investment or his/her dream second home, we offer a vast range of properties and land in some of the fastest growing emerging markets including Brazil, Turkey, Morocco, and the Caribbean as well as in more established markets such as Greece, France, Portugal and Italy.

Jean offers a confidential, personalised and professional service to help buyers make an informed decision to suit buyers' specific requirements.

Jean takes great pride in identifying the best performing property investment opportunities and making them available to buyers.

This includes doing bespoke, off market deals for buyers. Recently, Jean put together a high return closed end deal for commercial development land in Brazil, yielding the investor a 100% net profit.

Social Enterprise: we are partners with 'Habitat for Humanity' and have financed the building of over 9 homes in India from our Successful Sales.

Jean is originally from the US, and has a BA in History from Kenyon College and an MBA from Cass Business School, London. She also spent a year living in France when she was 20.

Her switch from the media to property was a natural one as her family has been in the property business in the US since the 1940s. Her grandfather, James Liggett, raised finance for building skyscrapers and office buildings in the Midwest, USA, and her father and uncle went on to build luxury and customised houses as well as apartments and office buildings.

As a note of interest, her father grew up down the street from Jack Nicholas, and occasionally he gave Jack a ride to his golf course, the Scioto Country Club, Upper Arlington, Ohio.

She plays tennis as the Paddington Sports Club in Maida Vale, and enjoys going to independent films, theatre, travel and current events.

She is a Black Star in ecademy (www.ecademy.com), the business and social networking organisation and Democrats Abroad.
